Yes, ArchMate provides two types of smart films:
Lamination Films – Designed for glass fabricators to integrate into new laminated glass.
Retrofit Films – Equipped with wet adhesive, allowing installation on existing glass surfaces to instantly upgrade them into LCG® (Light Control Glass).
ArchMate's PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) smart film switches from fully opaque to fully transparent (and vice versa) in less than 0.1 seconds, ensuring instant privacy or clarity on demand.
Yes, ArchMate is a leading provider of outdoor-optimized LC films. Our High-Temp LCG® and Solar Control LCG® are engineered specifically to withstand external weather conditions, making them ideal for facades, skylights, and exterior windows.
ArchMate PDLC smart films operate on low voltage and consume very little power. Powered by our patented LCG® controllers, the average energy consumption is just 3 watts per square meter (3W/m²), making them energy-efficient and cost-effective.
